@Liebe Freunde,
I stand by my statements above. The communications have typically come on the Instagram accounts of Ingo, Björn and Dän, plus the band's own Insta account. Friedemann uses his Insta account to highlight a range of musical projects and I don't know if Clemens is on Insta. I do not follow FaceBook much re AB.
@Lu, since Daggi is active on Instagram, she could easily show you all the posts that Ingo, Björn
rn and Dän have posted over the past two years. There is a wealth of contextual information there, including Ingo's wonderful sad song with photos recapping the pandemic/flood years, Björn showing himself saying goodbye to his child when he heads out on the road with AB, and Dän encouraging everyone to vote while standing in front of a Green Party banner. There is rarely "hard news" there but it is an indicator of the Zeitgeist of the group. Since Christmas, it has been very blank other than Dan using his account for updates on his health status (updates that are much appreciated).
@Sally, your point about the group's creative process that begins with a lot of song-texts from Dan is well taken. This is a good reason for the group to be kind of quiet right now.
@Daggi, I think it is weird that Dän is so private about his family (esp. about having two sons who are probably lively and interesting like he is), but I am taking comfort from your statement that he will definitely get the support he needs when he goes home from rehab.
As for all the steps Dän has ahead of him for the next six weeks to be stage-worthy on April 22 in Heidelberg, I think it is daunting. He may need more time than that. But we will know more about his progress when we see all the guys on line April 8. I am very much looking forward to that.
April online sehen. Darauf freue ich mich sehr.
Tschüß!
Nancy
